The Future Looks Augmented
There is a new technology out called "Augmented Reality" that will change the way we view the future. Picture yourself going for a hike. While you are hiking your glasses give you a Terminator perspective on the trees you see, providing you with details on preferred environments and average lifespan. What if you could point your phone at a building and find out if any companies within that building are hiring or perhaps you want to know the complete history of the building? Well, you can with augmented reality. Although it is a fairly new technology, there are several companies/groups giving this fresh perspective legs to stand on.

First Look at Augmented Reality on Your iPhone
If you are a user of Yelp, you may not know there is an augmented reality "easter egg," or hidden feature, within the application called Monocle. Yelp is an application that provides users with local restaurant and business information based on the zip code they enter. Monocle is the GPS/compassing capability that initiates within the application when a user opens Yelp and then shakes their iPhone 3GS three times. If the stories are true, your iPhone 3GS should be able to tell you more about the restaurants you point it at in some of the larger cities. Try it, if you have the iPhone 3GS, the next time you are in San Francisco and tell us what you think.

Regen in Fast Company
On our way to Europe, we picked up some reading material at a gift shop in the Reno Tahoe Airport. One of the magazines we happened to pick up was the November edition of Fast Company. With the recent launch of RegenLiving.com, our interests perked when we read the cover page. Congratulations to Regen for an incredible product and rockstar publicity (a 4 page spread). We here at Noble can't wait for the product launch in 2010!

We are proud to announce Nevada Commission on Economic Development (NCED) has retained our services to manage its Web and digital marketing services. The 2-year contract will include branding, marketing, advertising and Web design and development.

MAP Becomes Nevada Industry Excellence
One of our Noble clients recently changed its name. Nevada Industry Excellence (NVIE) is the new name for the organization previously known as Management Assistance Partnership (MAP). To view the newly launched site designed and developed by Noble Studios, visit www.nevadaie.com.
