Adios IE6!

For many people, deciding on which browser to use seems foreign and unimportant. After all, their computer already came pre-installed with something and they haven't had any problems with it…yet. What they may not consider is how differently websites function and display in each browser unless the site's developers pay close attention to each browser's "laws for compatibility."

With Internet leaders like Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari, constantly coming out with new versions, it becomes an arduous (and expensive, no less) venture for companies to keep up their website's usability in each browser. Some sites are calling it quits on compatibility with the old browsers for not only security measures but "dog gone it," they're tired. Sites like: Digg, Google, YouTube, Facebook and others are now phasing out support for IE6. Incidentally, IE6 users make up for only about 5% of all Internet users.
